This is an 8-day adventure safari in Tanzania's northern circuit. We are with you from airport pick-up at Kilimanjaro International Airport until your departure from Arusha at the end of your adventure. Accommodation includes mid-range eco-lodges and luxury tented camps. Our licensed driver guide will take you to an unforgettable wildlife adventure through the heart of the East African savanna in a 4-wheel drive Land Cruiser with a roof hatch, air-conditioning, refrigerator and USB charging ports. This trip is for the adventurous in spirit and not for the faint-hearted. ​​

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

• Evening arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You may apply for visa upon arrival or may get an e-visa (this is recommended, visit this website for more information https://visa.immigration.go.tz/start) prior to arrival in Tanzania. Transfer to a country lodge in Usa River where you'll be spending two nights.

Day 2: Arusha National Park Game Drive and Walking Safari

• After breakfast drive to the nearby Arusha National Park to experience the park’s diverse landscapes and wildlife, including giraffes, buffaloes, and black-and-white colobus monkeys. DAY 3: Flight to Serengeti National Park

• Check-out after breakfast and drive to Arusha Airport to take a flight to central Serengeti.

• Proceed to tented camp where you'll be staying for two nights. After lunch, go to afternoon game drive until sunset. Click here for more information on Serengeti National Park.

DAY 4: Serengeti National Park - Central

• Leave camp at 6:30 a.m. for an early morning game drive to Banagi River. Picnic breakfast by the hippo pool and proceed to a whole day of game drive. Hot lunch with barbecue in the bush. Back to camp at sunset.

DAY 5 - To Ngorongoro Conservation Area 

• Check out after breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game viewing along the way. Descend the Ngorongoro Crater, a protected UNESCO world heritage site and known as the Eden of Africa. It is the world's largest intact caldera and the best place to see the Big 5 (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, rhinoceros). Picnic lunch by the hippo pool in between game drives. DAY 6: Tarangire National Park

• Check-out after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park with lunch boxes. Tarangire is home to herds of elephants and giant baobab trees. Lunch in a picnic area overlooking the Tarangire River and game drive until sunset. Click here for more information on Tarangire National Park.

​​​​​DAY 7: Tarangire National Park to the Maasai Highlands of West Kilimanjaro 

• Leave camp at 6:30 a.m. and go to an early morning game drive. Back to camp for breakfast and prepare for checkout. Drive to the Maasai highlands of West Kilimanjaro with stopover in Arusha for hot lunch. Participate in activities like spear throwing, dancing with the Maasai tribe on the plateau at sunset, and eating Maasai-style grilled goat by the bonfire under the stars.

DAY 8 - Maasai Highlands and Transfer to Airport​​

• Spend the day exploring the highlands on foot and visit a Maasai village. Engage with the Maasai community and learn about their customs, lifestyle, and traditional livestock herding. You may get the opportunity of seeing the peaks of Kilimanjaro on a clear day.

• Prepare for check-out and proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your evening flight to the US.
