Embark on a thrilling 10-day classic Great Migration safari that starts from the stunning landscapes of West Kilimanjaro and takes you through some of Tanzania's most iconic national parks. Your adventure begins with a visit to Arusha National Park, where you can explore its diverse ecosystems and enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Meru. Next, you'll journey to the Serengeti, the heart of the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing grounds—an awe-inspiring spectacle of nature. Following your Serengeti experience, you will visit the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in wildlife and stunning vistas, offering opportunities to witness animals in their diverse habitats. Finally, your safari concludes in Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and impressive baobab trees. Day 1: Arrival in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Arrival in JRO (Kilimanjaro International Airport). You may apply for visa upon arrival or may get an e-visa (visit this website for more information https://visa.immigration.go.tz/start) prior to to traveling to Tanzania. Transfer to the highlands of west Kilimanjaro where you’ll be spending the night. Early check-in, breakfast, and relaxation. You may also go on a hike in the Maasai highlands and visit the communities in the area. Late afternoon and evening activities with the Maasai community where you’ll be learning about their customs and way of life. Participate in activities like spear throwing, dancing with the Maasai tribe on the plateau at sunset, and eating Maasai-style grilled goat by the bonfire under the stars.

Day 2: Arusha National Park

Check-out after breakfast and proceed to Arusha National Park for game drive and walking safari. Picnic lunch by the Momella Lake. Proceed to Arusha town where you’ll be spending the night before your flight to Serengeti the next morning.

Day 3: Flight to Serengeti North (Kogatende) / South (Ndutu) / Western Corridor (Kirawira)

After an early breakfast, check out and drive to Arusha Airport at 8:00 am. Take the flight to northern, southern, or western Serengeti (depending where the migration is) and arrive in the Serengeti airstrip at around 1:00 pm. Have lunch at the airstrip before proceeding to an afternoon game drive to witness the Great Migration.

Day 4: Great Migration Game Drive

After an early breakfast, leave camp with lunch boxes and proceed to a whole day game drive to follow the great migration. You’ll be watching out for big cats today as well.

Day 5: From Northern/ Southern/ Western Serengeti to Central Serengeti

If not going on hot air balloon flight, check out after an early breakfast and drive towards central Serengeti with game viewing along the way. Picnic lunch in Seronera and afternoon game drive looking for big cats.

Prepare for check-out but leave luggage with the reception.

Pick up from camp at around 5:00 am and drive to the hot air balloon launching site for an early morning hot air balloon ride followed by a luxurious bush breakfast.

Driver guides will come with your luggage and lunch boxes and will pick you up from the balloon breakfast site at around 10:30 am.

Drive towards central Serengeti with game viewing along the way. Late lunch in Seronera and afternoon game drive looking for big cats until sunset.
DAY 6: Central Serengeti Game Drive

Leave camp with breakfast hamper and go on a whole day game drive around central Serengeti. Picnic breakfast at the Banagi River where the hippos are and afternoon game drive looking for big cats. Barbecue bush lunch with Miracle Experience. Back to the tented camp at sunset.

Day 7: To Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area

After breakfast check-out at around 7:30 am and proceed to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area. It will be a long drive and you’ll descend the crater floor for game viewing at around 11:00 am. Picnic lunch by the hippo pool. Ascend the crater rim at around 4:30 pm and exit the conservation area.

Day 8: To Tarangire National Park

Could sleep in today or relax after breakfast. Prepare for check-out and leave the lodge with lunch boxes at 11 am. Drive to Tarangire National Park, home of giant baobabs and elephants. Picnic lunch by the Tarangire River. Afternoon game drive until sunset.

Day 9: Tarangire Morning Game Drive and to Arusha

Leave camp at the break of dawn to go on an early morning game drive around Tarangire National Park. Return to camp at around 9:00 am for breakfast and prepare for check-out. Leave camp with lunch boxes and take another game drive, exiting the park gates at around 2:00 pm. Drive to Arusha and proceed to Lake Diluti for a sunset canoe ride overlooking Mt. Meru.

DAY 10: Relaxation and Airport Drop-off in the Afternoon
