Embark on an unforgettable 14-day itinerary that begins in the scenic Maasai Highlands of West Kilimanjaro, where you will enjoy the stunning vistas and cultural richness of the region. Your adventure then leads to a walking safari in Arusha National Park, allowing you to experience the lush landscapes and diverse wildlife up close. Following your exploration, you’ll take a bush flight to Serengeti National Park, where you will witness the incredible wildlife of the northern savanna, including the breathtaking Great Migration. A highlight of your Serengeti experience will be a magical hot air balloon flight, providing stunning aerial views of the vast savannas and wildlife below as the sun rises over the landscape. Next, you’ll visit the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich biodiversity and unique volcanic landscapes. Your journey continues to Tarangire National Park, where you can marvel at magnificent elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Finally, conclude your safari with a flight to the enchanting island of Zanzibar, where you’ll explore the rich history of Stone Town and indulge in the pristine beaches with their turquoise waters on Chumbe Island Coral Park and Nungwi. Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

Evening arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You may apply for visa upon arrival at the airport or may get an e-visa (https://visa.immigration.go.tz) prior to starting the journey to Tanzania. Transfer to your accommodation in the Maasai Highlands of West Kilimanjaro where you'll be staying in a traditional Maasai boma for two nights.

Day 2: Maasai Highlands of West Kilimanjaro

Spend the day exploring the highlands on foot and visit a Maasai village. Engage with the Maasai community and learn about their customs, lifestyle, and traditional livestock herding. Participate in activities like spear throwing, dancing with the Maasai tribe on the plateau at sunset, and eating Maasai-style grilled goat by the bonfire under the stars. You may get the opportunity of seeing the peaks of Kilimanjaro on a clear day.

Day 3: Arusha National Park Game Drive and Walking Safari

Check-out after breakfast and drive to the nearby Arusha National Park. Experience the park’s diverse landscapes and wildlife, including giraffes, buffaloes, and black-and-white colobus monkeys. Take a guided walking safari in the lush greenery near Mt. Meru. Picnic lunch by the Momella Lake.

Day 4: Flight to Serengeti North (Kogatende) / South (Ndutu) / Western Corridor (Kirawira)

After an early breakfast, check out and drive to Arusha Airport at 8:00 am. Take the flight to northern, southern, or western Serengeti (depending where the migration is) and arrive in the Serengeti airstrip at around 1:00 pm. Have lunch at the airstrip before proceeding to an afternoon game drive to witness the Great Migration.

Day 5: Great Migration Game Drive

After an early breakfast, leave camp with lunch boxes and go to a whole day game drive following the great migration and looking out for big cats.

Day 6: Hot Air Balloon Safari with Miracle Experience

Prepare for check-out but leave luggage with the reception.

Pick up from camp at around 5:00 am and drive to the hot air balloon launching site for an early morning hot air balloon ride followed by a luxurious bush breakfast.

Driver guides will come with your luggage and lunch boxes and will pick you up from the balloon breakfast site at around 10:30 am. Drive towards central Serengeti with game viewing along the way. Late lunch in Seronera and afternoon game drive looking for big cats until sunset.

DAY 7: Central Serengeti Game Drive

Leave camp with breakfast hamper and go on a whole day game drive around central Serengeti. Picnic breakfast at the Banagi River where the hippos are and afternoon game drive looking for big cats. Barbecue bush lunch with Miracle Experience. Back to the tented camp at sunset.

Day 8: From Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast check-out at around 7:30 am and proceed to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area. It will be a long drive and you’ll descend the crater floor for game viewing at around 11:00 am. Picnic lunch by the hippo pool. Ascend the crater rim at around 4:30 pm and exit the conservation area.

Day 9: To Tarangire National Park

Could sleep in today or relax after breakfast. Prepare for check-out and leave the lodge with lunch boxes at 11 am. Drive to Tarangire National Park, home of giant baobabs and elephants. Picnic lunch by the Tarangire River. Afternoon game drive until sunset.

Day 10: Flight to Zanzibar

Leave camp at the break of dawn to go on an early morning game drive around Tarangire National Park. Return to camp at around 9:00 am for breakfast and prepare for check-out. Leave camp with lunch boxes and exit the park by 1:00 pm. Drive to Arusha Airport to catch the 4:45 pm flight to Zanzibar, arriving in the island at 5:55 pm.

Day 11: Chumbe Island Coral Park Excursion

After breakfast, drive to the launching site and take the speedboat to Chumbe Island, a marine protected area, where you’ll be spending the day. You may do the following activities: snorkeling, forest walk, historical lighthouse tour, relaxation. Return boat leaves Chumbe Island at 4:30 pm.

Sunset cocktails and 3-course dinner in a rooftop restaurant (dinner included in the package but alcoholic beverages extra). Cocktails start at 6:00 pm and dinner is promptly served at 7:00 pm.

Day 12: To Northern Zanzibar - Nungwi

Could sleep in today. After breakfast prepare for check-out and drive to the northern coast of Zanzibar where you’ll be spending two nights in a beachfront bungalow in Nungwi. Seafood lunch and relaxation after check-in.

Take a relaxing private dhow sunset cruise with live music from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Snacks, fruits, and cold drinks served on board. Evening relaxation, free time, and dinner in restaurant of choice (not included in the package, restaurant accepts credit cards).

Day 13: Northern Zanzibar - Nungwi

Early morning trip to a sea turtle sanctuary where you could swim with sea turtles.

Day 14: From Nungwi to Airport Drop-off

Check-out of the hotel at around 12 noon and proceed to a seaview restaurant for a sumptuous seafood lunch (included in the package, but alcoholic beverages extra).

Drive to the airport and passing by Stone Town for last minute souvenir shopping as needed. Drop off at Abeid Karume International Airport for flight back home.
