This is a 10-day adventure safari in Tanzania's northern circuit. We are with you from airport pick-up at Kilimanjaro International Airport until your departure from Arusha at the end of your adventure. Accommodation includes mid-range eco-lodges, luxury tented camps, and Maasai hut. Our licensed driver guide will take you to an unforgettable wildlife adventure through the heart of the East African savanna in a 4-wheel drive Land Cruiser with a roof hatch, air-conditioning, refrigerator and USB charging ports. This trip is for the adventurous in spirit and not for the faint-hearted. ​​

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

• Evening arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You may apply for visa upon arrival or may get an e-visa (visit this website for more information https://visa.immigration.go.tz/start) prior to arrival in Tanzania. Transfer to your accommodation in the Maasai Highlands of West Kilimanjaro where you'll be staying in a traditional Maasai hut for two nights.

Day 2: Maasai Highlands of West Kilimanjaro

• Spend the day exploring the highlands on foot and visit a Maasai village. Engage with the Maasai community and learn about their customs, lifestyle, and traditional livestock herding. Participate in activities like spear throwing, dancing with the Maasai tribe on the plateau at sunset, and eating Maasai-style grilled goat by the bonfire under the stars. You may get the opportunity of seeing the peaks of Kilimanjaro on a clear day.

DAY 3: Flight to Serengeti National Park - Kogatende (North)

• Check-out after breakfast and drive to Arusha Airport to take a flight to Serengeti Kogatende.

• Afternoon game drive along the Mara River after lunch and relaxation. Back to the tented camp at sunset.

• Accommodation: Tented camp in northern Serengeti

DAY 4: Serengeti National Park - Kogatende (North)

• Early morning game drive to watch out for the migration crossing the Mara River.

• Back in the tented camp for late breakfast and relaxation. Leave tented camp with lunch boxes and go on a game drive until sunset. Picnic lunch in the bush.

• Accommodation: Tented camp in northern Serengeti

DAY 5: Serengeti National Park (Central)​​

• After an early breakfast, check-out and drive towards central Serengeti. It's a 4-hour drive with game viewing along the way.

• Picnic lunch along the Banagi River. Go to an afternoon game drive looking for big cats and proceed to tented camp at sunset.

DAY 6: Morning Game Drive in Seronera and Afternoon Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

• Check-out after an early breakfast and go on a game drive around Seronera. Proceed to Ngororongoro Conservation Area with game viewing along the way. 

• Accommodation: Lodge inside Ngorongoro Conservation Area

DAY 7: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive​

• Check-out after breakfast and descend the Ngorongoro Crater, protected UNESCO world heritage site and known as the Eden of Africa. It is the world's largest intact caldera and the best place to see the Big 5 (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, rhinoceros). Picnic lunch by the hippo pool in between game drives. After exiting the conservation area, proceed to a coffee lodge where you'll be spending the night. Afternoon relaxation and coffee walk if time permits.

DAY 8: Tarangire National Park

• Check-out after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park with lunch boxes. Tarangire is home to herds of elephants and giant baobab trees. Lunch in a picnic area overlooking the Tarangire River and game drive until sunset.

DAY 9: To Arusha Town and Souvenir Shopping 

• Leave camp at 6:30 a.m. and go to an early morning game drive. Back to camp at 8:30 a.m. for breakfast and prepare for checkout. Leave camp at 10:30 a.m. and exit the national park gate by 12:00 noon. Drive to Arusha town and pass by the Maasai market for souvenir shopping before proceeding to a lodge in Arusha where you'll be spending your last night in Tanzania.

DAY 10: Arusha National Park Walking Safari and Transfer to Airport​​

• After breakfast drive to the nearby Arusha National Park to experience the park’s diverse landscapes and wildlife, including giraffes, buffaloes, and black-and-white colobus monkeys. Take a guided walking safari in the lush greenery near Mt. Meru. Picnic lunch by the Momella Lake. Click here for more information on Arusha National Park.  Drive back to the lodge to pick-up luggage and to freshen up before proceeding to the airport. 

• Proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your evening flight to the US.
